I was excited to see this Yahoo study which says men are doing the food shopping for their families. I’ve long been the primary shopper in our house, so it’s nice not to be alone.
It’s also nice to see men thinking more about the food they eat, something we felt was happening last year. That was one of the reasons we started this blog. The days of eating whatever was plopped down in front of you, whether at a restaurant, McDonald’s or at home, should be past, guys. Take charge of what you eat.
The discussion I link to here makes some interesting comments about how food companies are still marketing to women and missing the movement by men to do more grocery shopping. Maybe the big food companies need to read our blog.
