In my experience nuts take a bad rap. Lots of folks think that they are eating healthy by avoiding nuts because they think nuts are high in calories. That depends on your point of view. Lots of junk food has lower calories, but offer little or no food value to your system. That is not smart eating. If you pay attention to your portion control and serving size you can benefit greatly by adding nuts to your diet. In fact, nuts are an excellent source of healthy fat, protein, and other very useful nutrients.
