I hope this edible Christmas tree will give you healthy ideas about your eating this holiday season and in the coming year.

While you are thinking about it, don’t forget that you need to exercise, too. You won’t be exercising just to burn calories. Exercise benefits your brain and body in many ways. Check out the EXERCISE tags at the right to read further on this.
I hope you will enjoy all the benefits of good food and exercise! Eat less; move more; live longer and keep that brain functioning at a high level. Healthy eating is healthy aging and we all want that. Okay, we seniors are more aware of it than you younger folk, but keep at it and you will come realize and appreciate it too.
Best wishes for this holiday season!
Tony
Thanks, Tony! I am making sure to exercise every day even in this arctic cold. Do you have any recommendations for heated gloves? My hands get so darn cold now. They really hurt for a long time afterwards. Feet too.

Be very careful of frostbite. Only 10 minutes in the extreme cold will do it. I use glove mitts for my hands. I don’t know about heated ones. Did you catch my post on cold weather biking? Lots of useful info in that.

I have not seen your post on cold-weather biking. I’ll have to look for that. When you say you use mitts, does that mean mittens?

There is a picture in the post. You can get them from Amazon.

Do you have a link to the actual glove mittens that you got on Amazon? I went to search, and Amazon has so many, but none that look like yours.

No, but that picture in the post was lifted from the Amazon page. Sorry. Make sure they have leather on the front, so if you fall on the bike, your hands will be protected like with bike gloves. Merry Christmas!

Have a Merry Christmas and may your health issues be just a blip in 2023. I’m a firm believer in healthy eating and exercise but also think the odd indulgence adds to the “sweetness” of life!
All the best to you and yours!
