My aunt has dementia. She’s getting worse quick. It’s a terrible disease, so inhuman 😦

I took care of my aunt with Alzheimer’s for the five years before she died. No one ever realizes how hard it is on all the people who love the sick person. I don’t think my aunt suffered so much because she really didn’t know what was going on. I have a picture of her with my mother (her younger sister). The amazing thing is that my aunt – over 90 years old – had no wrinkles in her face any more. I think that was because consciousness – and stress – had left her.
