As I wrote earlier this week, I went into this holiday season determined not to let it get the better of me, weight-wise.
I exercised extensively before Christmas and have done my best to keep up the new routine of roughly 90 minutes per day on my exercise bike even this week when I’m home from work and seeing to a myriad of family and personal matters. That meant riding last night until midnight to get my evening hour in but I had to do it after indulging in a large lunch that included six ribs and some wonderful cake.
The good news is that I’m seeing results. I weighed in at 205.8 this morning after going as high as 208 just after Christmas. Today’s weight is within sight of where I was prior to the holidays, so what I need to do now is keep up the new regime and continue it even after the holiday eating binge passes so I can once again attack my long-time nemesis, the 200-pound mark.
